  First off, I want to thank you guys for the enthusiasm and honest questions you have brought into the summer sunday school. It is a real pleasure to teach you guys . I will be using this xanga to post links to articles, videos, and my own thoughts that we do not have time to cover in length during the sunday school hour. Please leave questions or comments that you have regarding any topic we've discussed. I look forward to your feedback and will be using it to shape future topics that we will explore.
  
  To start us off, here is an article that has well thought out answers to some of the major arguments put forth by advocates of gay marriage. With California legalizing gay marriage just a month ago, I am sure you will encounter many discussions about the topic and I want to make sure you as a Christian are properly informed. Take a few minutes to read the article and let me know what you think:

  Also, here is the video that I showed during sunday school today in case you missed it. The video deals with the idea of moral relativism (the idea that moral claims are individual preferences because there is no objective standard of morality). The speaker is Greg Koukl who is the founder of a Christian Apologetics organization called Stand to Reason. He also wrote the article posted above.
